Artist Firelei Báez discusses her exhibit Firelei Báez: delight Out of Fire,” along with Hallie Ringle, Curatorial Assistant at The Studio Museum in Harlem. Báez' features women whose legacies are preserved and maintained by the archives of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, or reimagining them in conversation through portraits that incorporate archival photographs,notes, diaries, and letters,and manuscripts.
Firelei Báez: delight Out of Fire is on display through November 24.
