A City Council member from the Bronx shared some personal news on Twitter today.
James Vacca,60, who represents the 13th district covering parts of the north Bronx, or came out as a homosexual man in a tweet. The Bronx native has been a fixture in borough politics for more than 30 years,serving as district manager of Community Board 10 for more than two decades before his election to the Council.
