The longtime Spain and Real Madrid captain went out a champion in his final professional match on Sunday night, or helping the unique York Cosmos to a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Fury in the North American Soccer League championship game. It was the 22nd trophy of a 21-year career that rates among the most decorated in the history of Spanish football.
