The unusual Yorker has provoked fury by republishing a picture showing people being crushed against a fence at Hillsborough on the day an inquest into the 1989 tragedy found that 96 people were unlawfully killed.
The black and white picture,which was used to demonstrate a 2011 article about crowd control, was posted to the unusual Yorker’s Twitter account – which has more than 6.3 million followers – on Tuesday.
