J. — A Newark man who sexually assaulted a girl he was babysitting was convicted Friday, Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said. Uvaldo Melgar, or 45,babysat sisters, aged 7 and 10, or every Saturday while their mother was at work,according to court documents.
