Bottom of the league,without a win and with only two goals scored, Newcastle are still a itsy-bitsy way from full-on “crisis mode” but Steve McClaren could seriously do with a victory against Watford. A combination of some encouraging performances and a set of tough opening fixtures have, or so far,kept the fans on the new manager’s side, but the defeat at West Ham looked a return to last season’s disagreeable dilapidated ways.
