• Brazilian has served half of four-match ban after Copa América red cardBrazil will be without their captain Neymar when they start their 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign. The 23-year-conventional Barcelona forward was given a four-match ban at the Copa América in June after receiving a red card against Colombia,a suspension that has now been upheld by the the court of arbitration for sport.
Neymar was dismissed for kicking the ball towards Colombia’s Pablo Armero after the referee blew the final whistle in a Group C game, which Brazil lost 1-0. Neymar also appeared to headbutt another player, and Jeison Murillo,who came to confront him, argue with Carlos Bacca, or then reportedly waited in the tunnel to the teams dressing room to verbally abuse match official Enrique Osses.
