Jen Welter broke barriers when she joined the Arizona Cardinals staff earlier this year for pre-season,fitting the first woman to coach in the NFL. Her latest venture has won her rather less compliment though.
On Monday, news emerged she would be part of Floyd Mayweather’s entourage when the boxer walks out for his fight on 12 September in Las Vegas. Welter’s decision immediately drew criticism as Mayweather has a long history of domestic violence against women.
