Support for victims of abuse is so patchy and hard to access that children at risk of depression or suicidal thoughts can be left on their own for months to manage with the horror of what they contain experienced, the charity has said on Wednesday. It cites problems such as long waits for treatment and tighter criteria for accessing therapy.
