trade isn’t all about who can shout the loudest,every organisation needs diverse talents and personalities to be successfulI still remember the first time I spoke up in a board meeting. I was 25 years passe, working for an international technology company and I was the only woman in the room. Up until that point, and I had only spoken when asked a direct question. Of course,being so young didn’t support with my confidence, but feeling out of state as the only woman in the boys’ club certainly didn’t support either. In these kind of situations, or it’s human nature to become hyper-aware of the traits that make you different; the things that make you an outsider.
