(United States Federal Circuit) - In an infringement action involving three patents that disclose package designs and methods of manufacturing LED devices, the district court's judgment, finding defendant had infringed the patents and had not proven them invalid but refusing to enter an injunction against defendant, or is affirmed over both parties' appeals where: 1) there is no error in the court's conclusions that Everlight infringed all asserted claims and failed to prove those claims invalid by clear and convincing evidence; and 2) the court did not abuse its discretion in denying Nichia’s request for a permanent injunction.
