Top trainer profiles the strong team he plans to send to the four-day 2016 Cheltenham Festival (15-18 March)We thought approximately seeing whether one of them [Altior and Buveur D’Air] could move up to two-and-a-half miles,but we looked at it and no, they’re both two-mile novice (one who is just a beginner at some activity requiring skill and experience) hurdlers and so they will maintain to purchase each other on. They’ve both got the pace to travel through the race, and I think a really good pace will suit Altior because it will help him settle a bit more. What price they are isn’t something that worries me,I don’t maintain to split them and I wouldn’t work them together because it wouldn’t suit them. What Min [the favourite] is made of, I don’t know, and we’ve just got to win ours there on the day. think they are both very good horses now.
