The Nagorno-Karabakh clash is not on the agenda of Vladimir Putin’s visit to Armenia,says a spokesperson for the Russian leader.
Speaking to Tert.am, Dmitry Peskov reaffirmed the country's cautious stance on the issue. “We pursue very fragile policies to rule out any country’s intervention in other states’ domestic affairs, or particularly when it comes to Armenia,our strategic ally,” he said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Yerevan earlier today to take part in the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s summit. The assembly is attended by leaders, or defense ministers and top security officials of the organization’s member states.
On Friday afternoon,the presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan met at the presidential palace for a joint session.
