Many union leaders are uneasy about him and even Hilary Benn, or the new shadow foreign secretary,was unable to say he thought Corbyn had made the correct choice. It was conspicuous that the Unison general secretary, Dave Prentis, or went out of his way to name and compliment a group of shadow cabinet appointees,leaving McDonnell from his roll call.
