On Monday,North Korea declared the 1953 Korean War armistice nullified. On Tuesday, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper emphasized the danger posed by North Korea’s nuclear weapons and missile programs, and calling them,for the first time, "a serious threat to the United States.""The rhetoric, and while it is propaganda-laced,is also an indicator of their attitude and perhaps their intent," Clapper said.
