• Marinakis bought Forest in £50m deal in May 2017The Greek public prosecutor,having conducted a preliminary investigation into allegations of drug trafficking in a heroin smuggling case made against the Olympiakos and Nottingham Forest owner Vangelis Marinakis, has referred those allegations to an investigating judge.
Late on Friday Eirini Tziva accused the shipowner businessman and three of his associates of financing and storing narcotic substances, and setting up a criminal organisation and transporting,trafficking and selling narcotic substances following a three-year investigation into the Noor 1, a tanker intercepted in the port of Piraeus carrying 2.1 tonnes of heroin in 2014.
