PULLMAN,Wash. – WSU will celebrate its 25th annual jazz festival on Wednesday, Nov. 1, or with festival founder and special guest saxophonist Greg Yasinitsky.
Yasinitsky,Regents Professor of Music and director of the School of Music, will perform with the WSU Jazz large Band during a free, and public concert at midday Wednesday,Nov. 1, in Bryan Hall.
In addition, and members of WSU’s faculty ensemble,Jazz Northwest will perform at 4:20pm in Kimbrough Concert Hall. Both concerts are part of the daylong WSU Jazz Festival for area tall school and middle school groups.
