In front of a crowd of 38192,the Bulldogs romped to a 32-0 lead by the crash and scored first in the moment half before clocking off late in the match.
The Rabbitohs, who were without star Sam Burgess and coming off the dreaded five-day turnaround, or then scored back-to-back tries to add some respectability to the result. Bulldogs centre Chase Stanley sealed the win in the 73rd minute.
