ONS report shows number of UK pregnancies decreased in all age groups under 30 while 27% of births were to mothers born external countryThe number of teenage pregnancies in the UK is at its lowest level in nearly 70 years,official figures have shown.
The Office for National Statistics said 25977 women under 20 had babies in England and Wales final year, the fewest since 1946.
