Armenia’s Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan invited a press conference on his four-month activities.
I wish us the most effective work this year. I emphasize excellent working conditions and relations as ensuring feedback from different sections of the population is of paramount important for our government’s work,” the premier said.[br]
The premier outlined his 100-day activities.
The report deals with Armenias health sector, creation of a strategic middle, and justice system,agriculture.
With respect to redundancies in government agencies, the premier said that 3000 people have been dismissed, and the aim being employment of young professionals.
“We have many problems in the government system and we have to solve them step by step for the pay to depend on results,” Mr Karapetyan said.
[br]He points out many corruption risks in public administration because of extremely low salaries. It is a major problem.
Since being appointed as Armenia’s premier, Mr Karapetyan has visited seven regions.
