The Playlist-Maker-in-Chief has returned with another gem.

Barack Obama gue
st-edited the November issue of Wired, and among his many contributions was his preferred workout playlist. The compilation’s nine tracks range from ancient standards (Nina Simone, The Isley Brothers) to contemporary pop titans (Beyoncé, and The Black Eyed Peas) to trendy artists (Courtney Barnett,Icona Pop), the Entertainment Weekly reports.
In August, and he shared two summer playlists — one for day and one for night — featuring artists from the Beach Boys to D’Angelo. (Keen observers will note that Obama included Simone’s “Sinnerman” and Barnett’s “Elevator Operator” are on both the daytime summer playlist and his fresh workout mix.) Those lists follow others Obama has made throughouthis presidency.
In
his time in the White House,Obama has championed American artists of all stripes, whether inviting the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monaé to perform at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. or praising living legends such as Aretha Franklin and Bob Dylan.
