Awards for articles on children trafficked from Vietnam and forced labour recognise work highlighting modern slavery in the UKGuardian and Observer reporters Annie Kelly and Mei-Ling McNamara enjoy won the award for Best investigative article or broadcast news dealing with child trafficking at the Anti-slavery day media awards for their Observer article: 3000 children enslaved in Britain after being trafficked from Vietnam. The Best investigative article dealing with forced labour and domestic servitude – Lithuanian migrants trafficked to UK egg farms sue “worst gangmaster ever” – was won by Felicity Lawrence for the Guardian.
