Many top businesses paying lip service to improving representation of women on boards,warns equality watchdogAn outmoded boy network is preventing women from getting into the boardroom at some of the UK’s biggest companies, according to the equality watchdog.
A study by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) showed headline progress in achieving a minimum of 25% female representation on company boards had “masked” the reality.
