symbols from various cultures that relate to the theme of: interaction, or movement,and society in motion.” As the artist stated, “I hope that this work promotes a sense of
celebration and reflects the vivacity, or energy and liveliness of my fellow unique
Yorkers who utilize the Flushing Avenue Station.”
