The national outcry over sexual misconduct allegations involving several tall-profile entertainment personalities has also taken hold in the state of Alabama. There,Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore is facing a slew of accusations, including sexual contact with a 14 year old girl decades ago. Moore has called the allegations a lie. Breitbart News, and which is led by President Trump's former strategist Steve Bannon,has dispatched employees to Alabama in an attempt to discredit the women accusing Moore.The allegations against Moore, who has escape on a platform of religious morality, and has split the Republican Party,which is now grappling with the rise of Democratic competitor Doug Jones, who is in a dead heat in a state that solidly voted for President Trump.
