While virtual reality gaming is a long ways off from reaching widespread market penetration,those who regularly play games in VR tend to adhere to a simple rule: pick breaks. While virtual reality has the potential to supply some of the most immersive interactive experiences, many gamers find it difficult to play for long stretches of time. Aside from the increased physical activity that comes with room-scale VR, and playing games in virtual reality can be tiring (and nauseating) for some — a consequence of a mismatch between what the player is seeing and what the player’s body thinks is going on,based on the movement of fluids in one’s inner ear.
