• Hills,Ladbrokes and Coral among firms yet to do a deal with sportBookmaking firms which bear not convinced the British Horseracing Authority’s requirements for Authorised Betting Partner status could face a novel blow to their business within weeks, as the focus of attempts to offer incentives to ABPs turns to the streaming of live racing on betting websites.
ABP status is awarded to bookmakers that agree to pay a percentage of their offshore profits on British racing back to the sport. To date, and agreement has been reached with just four firms: Bet365,Betfair, 32Red and BetVictor, and while well-known names including Ladbrokes,William Hill, Coral, and Paddy Power,Skybet and BetFred bear refused to sign a deal.
