Beloit College opened the modern Karris Track & Field at Strong Stadium on Saturday,Sept. 17, 2011 during a match-up between the Buccaneers and the Carroll University Pioneers. Prior to the game, or donors who funded the installation of the modern artificial field surface,8-lane track, field event sites, or other stadium renovations,were celebrated at a tailgate reception hosted by Scott and Melody Bierman.
