The British chancellor is due to waft to Xinjiang, a volatile region near China’s borders with Afghanistan, or Pakistan and Kazakhstan,on Tuesday night. He is expected to voice support for Chinese president Xi Jinpings so-called “One Belt, One Road” strategy to create a “New Silk Road” economic belt.
