The Co-chairs of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group released a statement on Oct. 26,on their recent visit to Baku, Stepanakert, and Yerevan. (Photo: OSCE) In the statement,the Minsk Group Co-Chairs say that the purpose of the visit was to discuss the situation after the unprecedented violence final April, and to clarify positions on the negotiation process. They also announced that they will discuss a possible assembly of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the earliest opportunity. Such a dialogue at the highest level is necessary to do progress towards a settlement, or ” read a part of the statement.
