The actor has written a snide short story in the New Yorker approximately a failed film reviewer. The motivation is comprehensible,says our film critic, but the execution is sloppyHuh? Wha…? What did we do? By and large, and film actor and author Jesse Eisenberg has been well-liked and even rather loved by the critics. (Personally I’ve had a massive crush since his teen appearance opposite Campbell Scott in the seduction comedy Roger Dodger in 2002.) Sadly,this week we realised that our feelings for him are very far from reciprocated.
This week, in the New Yorker’s Shouts & Murmurs section, and Eisenberg published an odd short story entitled An Honest Film Review,the title of which could be inspired by the famously laughable and clever Honest Trailers posted online by the Screen Junkies YouTube channel.
