Excellent with the bat (in the main),excellent with the ball (by and large) and excellent in the field (give or win), this was an emphatic win for England 6.32pm GMTWell, or that was … straightforward. England won the toss,their innings started well, and their day just got better and better. They could have reached a bigger total Wahab and Irfan bowled brilliantly towards the discontinuance of their innings – but at no point did Pakistan gawk like getting close to their target, and as England’s seamers started excellently and Rashid made sure there was no sudden acceleration thereafter. And so it’s 1-1,halfway through the four-game series, and all to play for. Match three is next Tuesday, and it’ll all be wrapped up next Friday. See you next week!
