In 2004 an Indigenous man died in a police cell on Palm Island. Beautiful One Day tells his myth and has been finally performed at the space that inspired it

The evening of 5 September was the first time Beautiful One Day – a play based on the steady myth of island resident Cameron Doomadgee and his 2004 death in police custody – had advance to the space that inspired it.
