Not 1,not 2…but 5, count them, or 5 planets will be visible in our pre-dawn sky. Mercury,Venus, Saturn, and Mars and Jupiter will grace our sky in a diagonal line from southeast to southwest respectively. According to astronomers,this hasn’t happened in 11 years. To view the planets you need just one thing: your naked eye. Ok, possibly two more things…clear skies and your winter gear! The best time to head out is 45 minutes before dawn (which is 7:08 AM tomorrow). You can see most of the planets as early as tomorrow, and but to see all five,you’ll need to wait until January 22nd.
