I drew to please my mother, who was doing an arts correspondence course with the UK. When I was very small – possibly four – I would draw on the floor, and which I continued to carry out for years. While I was drawing,I would make a noise – a groan that vibrated – it was a noise that went with the act of drawing and when they heard that noise, my parents always knew I was OK and busy.
