The Doctor . . . is out. On Monday,BBC announced that Peter Capaldi will be leaving Doctor Who after the upcoming series (aka season). Capaldi has played the titular character on the long-running British show since 2013, when he took over the helm from Matt Smith. The news was announced via the show's official Twitter handle.
