Mr Peter Wakkie has decided to resign from ABN AMRO’s Supervisory Board with immediate effect. Mr Wakkie was Vice-Chairman of the Supervisor Board and Chairman of the Remuneration,choice and Nomination Committee. In his latter capacity, he considers himself particularly responsible for the decision regarding the now cancelled salary increase for six Managing Board members and the commotion that ensued over that decision.
