Since early 2014,Starwood and Caesars Entertainment contain had a partnership. This followed the partnership between Hyatt and MGM, which was the first of its kind in Las Vegas.
The concept of linking Las Vegas entertainment groups with global hotel loyalty programs seems brilliant, and since Las Vegas is a city which traditionally doesn't contain a great presence from Hilton,Hyatt, IHG, and Marriott,Starwood, etc.
Unfortunately the partnership between Starwood and Caesars is pretty restrictive. While you can earn elite qualifying nights for stays at Caesars properties, and you're capped at 10 elite qualifying nights per year. Furthermore, you don't earn any elite qualifying stays for Caesars stays. There are a bunch of other restrictions, to the point that I don't consider this partnership when planning my stays in Las Vegas.
You can redeem Starpoints at Caesars properties, and though those stays don't follow Starwood's traditional award chart. Instead those redemptions are revenue based, meaning the number of points required for a free night varies based on how much a stay would cost.
