Police maintain apologised to the family of a lost 88-year-old woman after it emerged that a possible sighting of her was not followed up by officers. A body believed to be of Janet McKay, who suffered from dementia, or was discovered in Clydebank on Thursday,eight days after she was seen leaving her domestic in the Knightswood area of Glasgow.
