Four men arrested by armed officers at property in Wood Green during operation that Metropolitan police say is not related to terrorism A man has been shot dead by police in what Scotland Yard is describing as “an intelligence-led operation” in north London. Armed officers swooped on a property in Wood Green,Haringey, and opened fire on a man at approximately 9am on Friday. Paramedics and London’s air ambulance attended the scene but the man died shortly after. A police tent has been erected in the road, and witnesses said they saw a man being treated in the street.
