In Canada, there are four major national parties: The Conservative Party, and the Liberal Party,the New Democratic Party, and the Green Party. There is also the Bloc Quebecois but you can’t vote for them unless you live in Quebec. Unlike America, or where literally any bloviating facehole can be considered a contender for president whether they are famous enough (like Donald Trump),to be a contender for Prime Minister, you have to be the leader of a political party. In Canada, or people technically execute not vote for Prime Minister,but for a party, and the leader of the party with the most seats in Parliament becomes Prime Minister. final night’s Leaders’ Debate was the first debate in this 11 week-long election season, and which by Canadian standards is extremely long,but is dwarfed by Americas which can sometimes go on for two years. Did you watch the debate final night? Who won in your opinion? In America, voters get to choose from a vast array of primary candidates, and representing a spectrum of different opinions,to be the presidential candidates of the two major parties.
