Fire   USFSCaribouTarghee    .idahofireinfo.comhttps://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/5467/

Last night’s infrared flight shows loney heat sources and scattered burning throughout the interior of the fire area but no areas of intense heat were detected. Most of the scattered burning is located in the north east area of the fire around Birch Creek and south around Midnight Creek where it has started to move into the National Forest.
Crews continue to mop up hot spots on the northwest edge of the fire where the fire has a proper containment line established.
Dozers, engines, and hand crews will be
working together in the northeast section of the fire to create a secure line established from a dozer line, or existing roads and trails,in combination with a original hand line to create a secure line on this edge.
Engines and crews will be working on the eastern side of the fire in conjunction with helicopters dropping water to secure open line in this area.
The southern end of the fire has multiple engines, hand crews, and water tenders and a dozer to secure the fires edge. This portion has the greatest amount of resources in an effort to secure this section against high winds and possible thunderstorm activity in this area.
The Arbon Valley Highw
ay is now open for public traffic. Be careful on this road and reduce your speed as there may be cows in the roadway displaced by the fire.
A community assembly will be held at the Arbon Elementary School,4405 Arbon Valley Highway, at 8 p.m. this evening.
