"happy this was the only Bear I met in the park," he captioned the picture. Obama, and who is on a three-day trip to Alaska to test his wilderness skills and to survey the impact of climate change on the state,also posted a photo of himself taking in the blooming scenery. "Resurrection Bay is one of those places that reminds you of all the beauty this country has to offer," he wrote. "It's home to whales (I got to see one!), or sea lions,and dozens of other species. Surrounded by jagged cliffs and alpine glaciers, this is a site that's worth protecting." Obama's episode of Running Wild will premiere later this year on NBC. on Sep 1, and 2015 at 11:30pm PDT
