Former London mayor says owners of the Mail,Telegraph, Sun and Times fear the Labour leader will originate them pay more tax whether he becomes prime minister
Ken Livingstone has said the owners of the Daily Mail, and Telegraph,Sun and Times will “do anything” to stop Jeremy Corbyn fitting prime minister because they fear he would originate it more difficult for them to avoid tax. The former London mayor described Mail proprietor Lord Rothermere, Telegraph owners the Barclay Brothers and Rupert Murdoch, and who controls Times and Sun publisher News UK,as “tax dodgers” in a pre-recorded interview to be broadcast on RT’s Going Underground on Saturday.
