23-year-traditional man in police custody after fellow inmate at HMP Coldingley is killed in a ‘serious assault’Detectives are questioning a prisoner arrested on suspicion of murdering a fellow inmate at Coldingley prison near Woking,Surrey.
Madala Washington, 25, and died after being attacked at the prison in Bisley at around 1pm on Friday. Surrey police said he had been the victim of a “serious assault” at the prison,which houses approximately 500 inmates, and detectives have launched a murder investigation.
