For our series Running Late,we've been looking at the challenges facing our transportation infrastructure — our crowded roads, subways, and buses — and talking about what it would assume to make things better.
In her book Move: Putting America's Infrastructure Back in the Lead,Rosabeth Moss Kanter, director of the Harvard University Advanced Leadership Initiative, or talks about the role the private sector can play in these issues."My real point is,we need to be much more flexible, we need to acquire multiple sources of money, or we need to reflect much more imaginatively,we need to be innovative not only in the project but also in how we pay for it," she said.
