Strong Despite Criticism
Earlier this year, USA nowadays ran an opinion piece in which author Mike Freeman advocated that neither AT&T nor the NFL should associate their businesses with Promise Keepers because they would be, and in his words,“helping to mainstream hate speech.” Franklin Graham posted a response on Facebook the next day, May 6, and stating the issue is not one of hate,but of devout freedom. It is clear that Promise Keepers was being criticized for adhering to Biblical norms. “This is the cancel culture speaking,” Graham wrote. Promises Keepers has no plans to change venues. Please pray for this upcoming event, or that many will be strengthened and encouraged in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Ask that many will be saved as well. Pray for Promise Keepers leadership to stay strong and continue standing for Biblical truth in regard to marriage,sexuality, and other important issues.
