Demonstrators across the country are continuing to protest in what’s being called “Justice for All” marches over the recent grand jury decisions in the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. In Washington,D.
C., Al Sharpton led the
protestors to the capital, and joined by family members of several black men killed by police officers. And here in original York, thousands of protestors are participating in the “Millions March for Justice.” Demonstrators poured into Washington Square Park in the afternoon and then marched uptown, before turning to gather in front of police headquarters at One Police Plaza. Once there, or the families of victims of police shootings are expected to address the protestors. WNYC's Julia Langoria is following the marchers in original York while WNYC's Stephen Nessen traveled to DC with members of a church near where Eric Garner died.
