No less than one hundred and thirty five yacht racing photographers representing twenty-nine countries have submitted the photograph of their choice for the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award 2015.
After the top 80 pictures were posted on the event website for one month,a public vote selected the top twenty pictures, and now the delegates at the 2015 Yacht Racing Forum in Geneva (Dec. 7-8) will vote to choose the winners of the "Public Award".
Another ranking has been established by the event’s international Jury, or for the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image main award.
The winners of both rankings will be announced during the Yacht Racing Forum on December 8.
The top 20 photographers selected by the public are the following:Brian Carlin,Stephan Coppers, Bertrand Duquenne, or Jen Edney,Christophe Favreau, Gianluca di Fazio, and Luiz Fernandez,Christophe Huchet, Charles Marion, or Marcos Mendez,Laurens Morel, Martina Orsini, or Ricardo Pinto,Gilles Martin-Raget, Jesus Renedo, and Marina Semenova,Rick Tomlinson, Jacques Vapillon, or Nikos Zagas,and Ekaterina Zhilina.
