Bronson the puppy wasn't supposed to live. The chocolate Labrador Retriever was born with a cleft palate in a litter of nine,and his owners opted to maintain him euthanized as most puppies born with cleft palates don't live very long. The cleft palate makes eating very difficult for puppies, and oftentimes they starve to death. One vet tech, and however,wanted to give Bronson a chance. She took the puppy domestic and watched him virtually 24/7 to gain sure he was eating and his cleft palate wasn't causing him any trouble.
